I've been staring mindlessly at assembly language for hours. I've got a book, and I can figure most of the stuff in there, but when I try and translate that to the T7G exe, it seems worlds apart. I'll try and find a reverse-engineering book in our uni library tomorrow, hopefully if a book is coming from the same angle as me it might help.
Forlorn.

If you don't have it already, see if you can grab a copy of Intel's "80386 Programmer's Reference Manual". I found it to be quite helpful, although it is of course limited to the 386 instruction set. (On the other hand, you will seldomly see newer code, especially when you disassemble the T7G DOS executable.)
(You can also dig around the Intel site to get the current revision of the reference manual, but personally I prefer a printed book.)
Thanks, I'll see if I can grab a copy of that somewhere: unfortunately they don't seem to have it in our uni library. One book they do have, which I think will be very useful, is this. They only have it in electronic form, and I prefer paper like you: it's not that expensive, I'll probably buy it if it does prove useful.
Looks like an interesting reading. When you have taken a look at it, tell me if it's worth something. ;-)
